Battle Ground, WA is a medium sized city of Clark County. The city is named for a battle that many feared, but ironically enough, never came to be during the Yakima Indian uprisings of 1855. The city is nestled between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The city has seven neighborhoods and is the 59th largest community in the state. It is a middle income community compared to federal standards and lower-middle income compared to state standards. It has a mixed workforce and job market featuring white, blue and no-collar positions. It is a semi diverse community in terms of race and ethnicity.
